The Pact by Jodi Picoult

Picoult tackles such tough topics with so many turns and twists and complications.  How can it ever be OK?  It can’t.  This time a loving teenage couple keeps a terrible secret and act on it with terrible consequences for them both.  The plot goes back and forth between the current horrible reality and the eighteen years’ history between the two and their families.   Picoult does not always solve the problem the plot faces us with.  There are no solutions after death.  9 out of 10. Read it.
