Fifty Shades Freed by E. L. James

The last and best of the trilogy.  Too bad it took two other books to get to this point.  Routine love conquers all .  There is a lot of “all.”  Not as raunchy as the first, more plot than the second.  It does give the reader a glimpse of what bucket loads of money can do to smooth out the bumps in life.  The way Christian and Ana  interact verbally continues to change course rapidly.  It would be a wonder if Ana’s love was enough for him in the longest of hauls.  The villain gets lots of chances.  I don’t think I would start this trilogy again.  The raunchiest parts are still way over necessary.  I certainly can not identify with any of the characters.  Obscene wealth, super kinky sex, many hired people on call when ever needed, multiple homes,  personal jets, more cars than I’ve ever heard of---all this makes the tough times they have so much easier to handle than most of us could imagine.  I didn’t carry the story in my head between readings. 8 out of 10 would be stretching it.
