Most of us were blessed. A Child Called "It" by Dave Pelzer

You cannot imagine a worse childhood that doesn't end in death.  Why was the Dad so weak?  Even in the 1970's, why was the school so slow to act?  How did he ever survive?  His Mother went from "Super Mom" to evil witch.  Just toward him, not his brothers.  I am anxious to read the next book about his life as this was like getting a great piece of pizza up to your lips and not getting a taste.  I had to go back to reread the beginning, as the book is a flashback from there.  It just quit, like a TV program that breaks for ads and doesn't come back for the ending scene.  That is why I just gave it a 7 out of 10.  BUT, I want MORE.  Non-fiction.
