The Last Letter From Your Lover by JoJo Moyes

I wanted to race to end to see what happened without all the pages interfering!  Society girl, Jennifer Stirling, has always been the picture of success other women of the 1960’s would want to emulate.  Best of everything, clothes, status, husband, money.  She didn’t know any differently.  She didn’t have to work, think, or express any opinions.  If she did, her husband shut her down.  Thus the imperfection.  Until she meets THE man who teaches her what she is missing.  A terrible car accident, a loss of memory, and years of finding love letters she doesn’t remember.
Skip ahead many years.  Ellie, a journalist, finds one of the letters and tries to find both the recipient and the sender.  Her job is on the line if she doesn’t come up with a good article to submit.
Can one reach into the past and reconnect with a lost love?  By then they are completely different people, different places in society, different expectations, different experiences, and unconnected.  Not good to be married to one person and thinking you are in love with another person, as both Jennifer and Ellie find out.
8+ out of 10 again for this author.  Anxious to read more of her books.
