A Secret Affair by Mary Balogh.  A no strings attached affair for the rich widow in England in the 1800’s.  Her elderly husband had prepared her for a different life, that would include a grand love,  when he was gone.  She had a specific gentleman as her target.  Ah, success.  A lovely romance novel without silly repetitive angst.  You know how it will end, but the trip there was fun.  Good author.  Good book. 8 out of 10.  Recommended reading.
