1776, By David McCullough.  A must read for the American history buff.  Participants in the war were made personable and believable.  Great details.  Makes me wonder how we ever were considered the winners of the war.  I would never be considered a reader of non-fiction, but enjoyed this.  There was so much I shared with my husband as we traveled.  Recommended reading. 8 out of
