The Perfect Ghost, by Linda Barnes

The Perfect Ghost by Linda Barnes.  The author-recluse has to face public appearances to meet publishing deadlines after her co-author dies when his car goes off the road.  He had done many interviews to get material for a biographical story about a movie star/director.  Now she has to finish the material and meet with important people outside her apartment.  Since he was the public face of the duo, business associates don’t think she can handle the rest of the needed interviews to complete the book.  Of course there is all the movie star atmosphere to dig through.  The mystery leads one to think that is the core of the plot.  It isn’t.  Not until the very end does the author zing it to you.  I rate it a 7/10.  For more reviews, see: http://queenbeewritings.blogspot.com/
