The Next Always by Nora Roberts

The Next Always by Nora Roberts. Book one of a trilogy. Always dependable for an escape of light romance, Nora Roberts comes through again.  Another village setting with lots of characters, the plot floats lightly along with shy would be lovers wondering what they are getting into.  The ghostly happenings aren’t so strong they pull away from the story.  There is the required villain sleazebag whom the hero gets to handle satisfactorily.  And yes, there is the helpful ghost making itself known as the story focuses on the renovation of an old building into a hotel.  Not her best story line, but warm and romantic.  Don’t know if I’ll look for the other two books in this Inn Boonsboro Trilogy, but I’ll read them if I come across them.  An 8 out of 10.
