Legacy by Nora Roberts. A 10 out of 10. A young girl, Adrian, answers the door to a man who says he is her father. She has never known him. He tries unsuccessfully to kill everyone in the house. Luckily, her mom is able to push him off the upstairs balcony and he dies. Her mother travels the country for the famous fitness business she runs. Thankfully, sometimes she gets to go to her Grandparents home where she experiences a more normal childhood when possible. She also grows up to be successful in the fitness business. But every February she gets a threatening poem mailed from different places all over the country. She turns it over to authorities who get no where in discovering who is threatening her. Finally the stalker nears. One of the best Nora Roberts novels ever. And I've read 84 of hers. Enjoy.A 10 out of 10.
